Q:Some user's fingerprint often can't be verified to access, how to solve such problem?
A: The following situations can result in checking staff attendance failure:
(1) Fingerprint was rubbed down;
(2) Much crinkle on finger and often varies;
(3) Serious desquamate of fingers.
If user’s fingerprint is not able to be verified, please delete it then enroll again, or another finger enrollment instead. You'd better select fine fingerprint (less crinkle, no desquamation, clear image) when enroll fingerprint, make your finger touch sensor nob with larger area, a comparable test should be made after enrollment, we suggest enroll more fingerprints copy. By the way our fingerprint T&A supplies 1:1 comparable method and password attendance function to check staff' attendance.
Q: in which aspects caused T&A system communication failure
A: Possible reason:
1. Wrong COM setting, COM chose to connect is not the COM port actually used;
2. Baud rate setting between computer COM and fingerprint T&A is different;
3. Fingerprint T&A is not connected to power or computer.
4. Fingerprint T&A already connected but power off.
5. Wrong connected terminal No.
6. Data wire or converter can’t communicate
7. Broken COM on computer.
Q: LCD can’t fully display after switch on, sometimes strip occurred on screen, how to solve?
A: Maybe:
1. Mainboard is broken;
2. Internal characteristic problem on LCD, you need contact to supplier and return products to be repaired.
Q: How to eliminate the administrator on T&A
A: T&A and computer communication are available to use, enter into manage label page, click cancel administrator button, then eliminate it, after connection halts, T&A menu mode occurred.
Q: Why did T&A tweet “di di” sound after communication connected
A: Computer Baud rate disaccords to T&A Baud rate setting, which results in abovementioned phenomenon, if use RS-232
If use RS-485, either two converter communication wire connected oppositely or adhere together.
Q: Turn on T&A, display “ repress (remove) fingerprint” time after time. How to deal with?
A: Possible reasons:
1. Long time used, surface of sensor nob became unclean, or scratch on it, which was mistook by senor as finger, but not been verified, so such problem occurred. Under such situation you can use adhesive to adhibit the dirty.
2. Connected wire of sensor nob loosed
3. Chip-on-board is broken.
Contact to supplier for guarantee if problem ②、③occurred.
Q: When read attendance record, it shows failure or mistake on midway, although it’s ok while downloading fingerprint and password for management operating terminal
A: Such situations are possibly related to data wire, converter, or COM. Which decrease the Baud rate between computer and T&A. please set 19200 or 9600, then read and write.
Q: What’s the problem that there is no voice in the device?
A: Maybe the speaker or the voice chip is broken.
Q: When electrify T&A, startup bar cycles, but it can’t enter into T&A interface
A: Please check fingerprint nob wire whether it be well inserted, or broken. Send it back for repair, if it is not the reason abovementioned.
Q: Time on T&A sometimes slower.
A: Several minutes slower one week, maybe clock crystal broke.
Q: T&A broke off; clock shows wrong time after reboot
A: MCU maybe broken, please send back for repair.
Q: Time is”00:00”after few minutes reboot, why?
A: Battery in clock may be broken, please send back for repair.
Q: Sensor light is not luminescent.
A: Your fingerprint is similar to another person’ that caused T&A false accept, you can choose other fingers instead.
Q: Why there is no voice in the key-press, no voice in the device?
A: Maybe it is the problem of buzzer, speaker or the circuitry.
